Broken Hill Airport – Australia | Level and Environmnet Art – Microsoft Flight Simulator

I had the opportunity to work as a Level and Environmnet Artist on the creation of Broken Hill Airport, located in Australia, for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

My work focused on the development of the airport environment, including level art, scene composition, environment dressing, asset integration, and recreating an atmosphere faithful to the real-world location.

Beyond the visual aspect, an important part of the process involved building and optimizing the level to ensure proper aircraft landing and takeoff operations, paying close attention to runway functionality, taxi areas, and overall environmental coherence within the simulation experience.

The goal was to create an environment that felt both visually believable and technically functional, balancing visual fidelity, performance, and the requirements of a real-time simulation pipeline.

This project allowed me to further develop my skills in large-scale environment creation, optimization, and realistic world-building for simulation experiences.
